Greetings Beloved,
DO you have thick darkness in your life right now? Is there stuff that is too tough for you to deal with right now? Do you feel like running away from it? If so then this is for you. First of all let me start by saying; “you’re not alone”! I too have thick darkness in my life at times I think we all do. There are things that are too big for us to tackle alone. We all get to that place where we need help from someone bigger and stronger than us. Seeing this week is on prospering physically I will share a testimony of how GOD healed me from a dreaded disease. I remember some time ago I was plagued on my left arm with severe shingles. My arm was a mess. The rash was nothing to play around with. I researched it and found out that this rash attacks the nervous system and could cause a lot of damage. I prayed to GOD for knowledge as to what to do? Whether I should go to the hospital or not. I did not have peace with going to the hospital so I chose to believe in GOD to be my healer and heal me as He has in the past. A week went by and the rash grew worse and was spreading up my arm and started on the other one. GOD had led me to get some hydrogen peroxide and wash it three times a day and put calomine lotion on it. During the sever burning and pain and itching I began to meditate on His promises in the Bible that say By His stripes we are healed. No weapon formed against us shall ever prosper. Greater is He that is within us than he that is within the world. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. While reading and speaking these scriptures out loud I began to get convicted of some sin that was in my life that I was unaware of doing. These sins very well could have been the reason that I had the reaction of shingles that scared the crap out of me. See sickness is 9 times out of 10 a reaction to some kinda of sin in our life. When we do the wrong thing we pay with sickness and sometimes early death and what’s worse is others around us suffer as well even though they are innocent in the matter. Sin like smoking does not just affect us but those around us who are closest to us. Satin loves when we sin because we are glorifying him. Some of the sin that I related this sickness to was; lusting after beautiful woman and things, thinking negatively about others rather than believing the best, speaking evil of others and being prideful (self centered). So through my suffering I began to cultivate a hatred to these evil ways. Every time I washed my arm and felt the excruciating pain and spine tingling sensation that made me want to scream, I thought about the sins I committed and confessed them out loud while asking GODs forgiveness and thanking him for 1 John 1:9 that says if we confess our sin HE is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse of all iniquity. And that He did for me.
To rap this up, GOD forgave me and completely healed me. I studied the sickness online and it said that the nerve damage could take months, years or never be recovered from. The rash lasted two weeks and was finished after I did a juice fast for one day with praying and had elders from the church where I go (FAITH CHURCH
If you are currently battling a sickness don’t panic this will not end in death. You will survive and live to give GOD the glory. Just stop speaking the symptoms and start speaking the Scriptures of GOD over the symptoms and they will go away a lot faster. Pray and seek GOD whether to go to the hospital and or seek a natural doctor. If He tells you yes and you have peace then pray as to what one to go to. There is nothing wrong with doctors as long as that is what the Lord wants you to do. Seek GOD in all things and trust in Him and He will lead your steps and be with you in the dark, trying times. He will not leave nor forsake you, He loves you a whole lot and has only good in store for you. Do you believes this? You should because this my friend is truth and not a lie. The words that I write are to encourage you and are whole truth that is based on the Holy Bible. So please by all means share these encouraging newsletters with others who are suffering. Would Dwell; used in this week’s scripture comes from the Hebrew word shakan pronounced shawkan meaning to lodge or permanently stay, abide, continue, cause to, make to, dwell, have habitation, inhabit, lay, place, remain, set up, rest.
This word is related to the Shekinah glory of GOD. His special presence that is present to heal, deliver, prosper and protect His chosen and faithful ones.
