2<>Letter of Encouragement <>
Dear Highly Favored One,
This letter is intended to the people who know GOD, love Him and will in the near future be tempted to hate, blame and turn away from Him the only One who truly loves you. This letter is also written to you who are angry and bitter with GOD, who blame Him for all the wrongs in your life and have trouble trusting in and loving Him and believing that He loves you. I too have been in both of your shoes and know what you’re going through. Please read on, this will help you to find peace, prosperity and security I promise thee.
I want to share some of my pain from my past with you. Growing up as a child I knew GOD somewhat and I liked Him, He was cool with me. I believed the best in Him and had no reason not to until age 9 when my dad died right in front of me from a massive heart attack. As a young boy with not a lot of knowledge of who GOD is / how much He loves us and not a lot of support and help from anyone so I struggled through life upset and confused about GOD and His love for me. Began to despise Him and eventually after a few years at age 13 or so completely turned my back on Him and the church (catholic church I attended CCD classes at). They kinda pushed me out anyhow I was smoking and acting crazy and they gave me the cold shoulder and I think told me to leave or I just left.
From age 13-18,19 I rebelled against what was right and I drank like a fish, smoked dope (POT), lusted and fornicated, fought, lied, stole, cheated, mistreated my moms who loved me and I did other things that I later regretted one such thing the most that I regretted was that I turned my back on GOD, didn't appreciate Him and failed to put Him first and love Him by believing the best in HIM and studying His Word! I blame no one, not the catholic nuns, my moms, GOD, no! no one. I accept full responsibility for my behavior that I willingly chose however I recognize and pull the sheets on the influencing factors of my sinful nature being the devil, the sin promoting music / TV media as well as my peers from high school and our country that is taking the Word of GOD out of schools and everywhere and cultivating and accepting defeat in order to please the people.
No matter what RELATIONSHIP WE ARE IN WHETHER WITH GOD OR MAN ONE THING THAT WILL MAKE OR BRAKE THE RELATIONSHIP IS THE FACET OF LOVE HAVING TO DO WITH BELIEVING THE BEST AND SEEING/APPRECIATING THE BEST QUALITIES IN OTHERS. By not appreciating GOD and others our relationships depreciate.
Anyway back to my story of sorry to glory. At age 19 I found myself shackled to sin a slave to Satin the accuser of the brethren. My life was a living hell. In and out of jails, institutions on my way to an early grave. It was then in my pain that I turned back to GOD and put my faith, trust and hope in Him. I began to believe the best in Him and JESUS HIS only begotten SON who died to pay the price for our sins (wrongs done intentionally or unintentionally). I began to hear the Word of GOD spoken through my TV screen late at night high as a kite. The pastor would talk to me with soothing springs and nature. The scriptures got inside me and within 2 years I was completely healed from my disease and free from sin and had the victory over Satin who is under my feet now and always!
Satin still tries to get me like right now as I write this letter. A relationship with a girl I had did not turn out the way I expected. Feeling let down and disappointed once again thoughts of past failures and hurts and disappointments trying to flood my mind. I am tempted to go around the crazy cycle of sin again. Unplug from faith and love in a GOD who is always with me, good and for me and plug into fear, doubt, unbelief (the devil) who hates and is against me. But I now know the fruit of that which is nothing good. SO I say to the devil and to my feelings and thoughts; “for it is written though shall not tempt the Lord thy GOD. Greater is HE JESUS that lives within me than you that is in this temporary world. I have the victory and will live and not die.” All my disappointments and pain GOD will repay me with double blessings, honor and pleasure in due season! That goes for you my friend too. GOD will repay you for your trouble believe me. Even though its not His fault He will repay you. He says so in His Word.
So in this season of pain rather than being a fool and turning my back on GOD I am choosing to do different from before and keep my faith BELIEVING THE BEST IN GOD AND MY FELLOW MAN AND I WILL WALK IN LOVE AND STAY FOCUSED ON THE PRIZE WHICH IS ETERNITY SPENT IN HEAVEN WITH JESUS FREE FROM THE GRIEF AND PAIN OF THIS TEMPORARY LIFE SPENT WITH THE DEVIL ON EARTH THAT IS DESTINED FOR FIRE AND O HOW I LONG TO SEE THAT DAY.
Don’t quit friend on your dreams and on GOD. HE LOVES US and this is for sure. Don’t believe the devil and your thoughts that come to tell you differently. The LORD is for us and desires what is best. He has great plans for you better the ones you and I envisioned. You and I have a real purpose for being here so we must not stop now lets keep going with and for JESUS! IF doors have closed that means HE is getting ready to open bigger and better ones. We should rejoice in disappointments and grief because they are making way for bigger, better appointments and pleasure both in this life and in the one to come. Stay FOCUSED ON GOD AND THE ETERNAL PRIZE THAT HE OFFERS TO THOSE WHO TRUST HIM!
