<>Encouraging Letter<>

Dear Beloved,

    I don’t know about you however I know I desire to prosper relationally (having healthy relations with GOD, myself and my fellow man. The book of 1 Corinthians chapter 13 in the Bible tells us plainly how to do that. I don’t even need to write anything today its so clear in scripture.

   I encourage us all to really take inventory daily on our love walk. Let us read through this passage of scripture and really think; “am I lining up with these qualities? Where am I falling short?” With our friend, loved one, spouse, children, boss, or whoever, are we being patient and kind? Or do we explode on them, yelling and screaming venting our hostilities and acting rude and disrespectful?

   Do we say hi to people in passing? Do we acknowledge them and show kindness making them feel accepted and loved? Or do we ignore them and act as if they don’t matter and there not important. Friends we deal with a lot of stuff daily and a kind word, a gesture of love, a letting go of the past failures and mistakes forgiving someone there wrongs as we desire others to forgive us, a patient smile and holding back of the cruel thought we almost let slip will go a very long way in helping to create a domino effect of love.

   Who knows that little act of kindness we show could just help to save someone from slipping into eternity not knowing JESUS. Where does lead them to? You see its bigger than we think, eternal life and death is on the line that’s why GOD is commanding us to walk in love and redeem the times. 

   

  2 John 1:6
This is love: that we live according to his commands. This is the command that you heard from the beginning: live in love.

1 John 3:23
This is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love each other as he commanded us.

John 15:12
This is my commandment: love each other just as I have loved you.

   Friends I know we all don’t like commandments, our pride says; “who are you to tell me what to do. I’m a do what I want to. Don’t tell me what to do!” What do you say we tell our pride to shut up and lets ride upon the hi places in Christ JESUS? Are you with me? If we will obey our earthly bosses and managers when they command us to do this or that shouldn’t we obey the Commander and Chief of our Faith, the Lord of GLORY maker of Heaven and earth when He commands us to walk in love?
